EUROCUT 767 LF

DESCRIPTION

EUROCUT 767 LF is a multipurpose, semi synthetic water soluble cutting and grinding fluid. It is a long life fluid, formulated for high performance on difficult machining operations with low staining characteristics on aluminium alloys. Primarily designed to give ultra low foam performance in applications where the coolant is delivered at high pressure.

TYPICAL

APPLICATIONS

Turning, milling, drilling, threading, boring, deep hole drilling, reaming (including Maple reaming) and creep feed grinding.

MATERIAL

COMPATIBILITY

Primarily designed for use on difficult to machine materials and aluminium alloys. It can also be used on a wide variety of ferrous materials.

WATER

COMPATIBILITY

Best performance is achieved between 50 and 250 ppm calcium. Above 250ppm small amounts of scum can be formed. EUROCUT 767 LF has a low foaming tendency.

STORAGE & HANDLING

The product should be stored under cover and protected from extreme temperatures (above 0ºC and below 40ºC). Avoid water collecting in the rim of upturned barrels.

SHELF LIFE

EUROCUT 767 LF has a shelf of 6 months from the date of supply.

PRODUCT MIXING

THE EUROPEAN OIL COMPANY advise the use of automated mixing systems. If the fluid is to be mixed manually, always add the concentrate to the water with maximum agitation.

The emulsion strength should always be checked using a calibrated refractometer.
