EOC EUROCUT 444 BIOSTABLE SEMI-SYNTHETIC CUTTING FLUUID
Description
Eurocut
444 is the latest technology in cutting fluids and has considerable advantages
over conventional solubles. It is a
semi-synthetic product which when mixed with water forms a translucent emulsion
that is completely biostable. The
biostable properties mean that the emulsion does not degrade or produce bad
odours, and the emulsion needs little or no maintenance. The formulation does not contain cresols or phenols or nitrites.
Rust and corrosion protection are outstanding, and no sticky residues or
sludges are deposited on machine parts.
Eurocut
444 has the added benefit of a chlorinated EP package and the semi-synthetic
formulation gives stable emulsions over long periods even in difficult
environments created by bacterial attach or tramp oil contamination.
The
inclusion of more than 40% mineral oil give an optimum balance of stability,
machining performance, foam and machine tool corrosion protection together with
very fluid residues.
Application
Eurocut
444 has been developed to be suitable for a wide range of diluent waters but is
specifically useful when applied in moderately soft water or in applications
with higher than normal fluid velocities. In
these conditions Eurocut 444 will have a low foaming tendency by virtue of its
component chemistry.
Benefits
·
Excellent
surface finishes
·
Latest
technology suitable for heavy machining operations on all common materials
·
Biostable
translucent emulsion
·
Excellent
performance in most general machining
·
Good
filterability
·
No bad
odours, easily maintained emulsion

·
Suitable
with all normal ferrous metals including low order stainless steel, certain
non-ferrous materials, high tensile steel, yellow metals and aluminium.
Eurocut
444 is easily mixed at all dilutions. The
correct mixing procedure is to add the oil to the water whilst stirring
vigorously (never add water to the oil as this will cause problems with the
emulsion).
