EUROCUT 444HDS BIOSTABLE SEMI- SYNTHETIC
HIGH OIL-CUTTING FLUID
Description
Eurocut 444HDS is a multipurpose
higher oil containing biostable semi-synthetic watermix coolant.
Whilst not considered a traditional
EP Fluid EUROCUT 444HDS improved load carrying performance when compared with
conventional semi-synthetic fluids.
Eurocut 444HDS has been developed
to be suitable for a wide range of diluent waters. It is specifically useful applied in moderately soft water,
or in applications with higher than normal fluid velocities.
In these conditions the product will have a low foaming tendency by
virtue of its component chemistry.
The inclusion of more than 40%
mineral oil gives an optimum balance of stability, machining performance, foam
and machine tool corrosion protection together with very low fluid residues.
The semi synthetic formulation
gives a stable emulsion over long periods, even in difficult environments
created by bacterial attach or tramp oil contamination.
Eurocut 444HDS is an ideal general
purpose semi-synthetic fluid suitable for a multitude of operations on various
types of machine tools, lending itself to grade rationalisation.
Application
Eurocut 444HDS is intended to be a
multipurpose product with the added lubricity required for applications such as
tapping and is suitable for applications on aluminium alloys.
As a watermix biostable
metalworking fluid producing micro-emulsions on dilution with water, the product
is ideally suited as a general purpose cutting fluid for the majority of medium
to medium-hard ferrous machining applications.
The higher levels of biostability and corrosion inhibition within the
emulsion also allow its use on the previously more difficult situations with
respect to emulsion stability and residual corrosion.
Benefits
·
Biostable - resists bacterial attach and promotes a long
service life.
·
Suitable for both ferrous and certain non-ferrous materials
·
Suitable for a use in a wide range of diluent water including
hard water
·
Higher oil content provides good cutting performance and a
high level of corrosion protection to both machine tool and component.
·
Exhibits a high level of stability and resistance to contamination
·
Free from Chlorine, Sulphur, Phenol
and Nitrites
·
Resistant to foam formation
·
Multi-metal compatibility
Dosage
Instructions
Eurocut 444HDS is easily mixed at
all dilutions. The correct mixing
procedure is to add the oil to the water whilst stirring vigorously (never add
water to the oil as this will cause problems with the emulsion).
