45 OIL SPILL DISPERSANT

Low toxicity oil spill dispersant

Type I according to and in compliance with LR448 specifications by UK Minisiry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. Complies with Warren Springs Laboratory for efficiency and toxicity.

Description

Aquamarine Oil spill dispersant is a fully biodegradable dispersant that promotes the dispersion of oil into microscopic droplets so that bacterial degredation of the oil is assisted. Aquamarine Oil Spill Dispersant also cleans and disperses oil on solid surfaces such as decks.

Uses

Dispersal of oil slicks on sea, beaches or rocks
General purpose cleaning of oil spillages

Application

At Sea 1 part Aquamarine Oil Spill dispersant should be applied to 10 parts oil by direct spraying.

On Beaches Aquamarine Oil Spill dispersant should be applied undiluted at a rate of 1 part dispersant to 5 parts oil in a fine spray. The surf line can be used as a washing down process if the energy is sufficient, otherwise washing down of the beach is necessary.
